Most technical advice arrives too late, from too far away, in language too soft to act on. We operate the other way. A principal calls. We arrive — quietly, quickly, and with the seniority required to make a real decision in the room.
We have spent twenty years on the inside of engineering organisations: as Chief Technology Officer, as a founder, as the person ultimately responsible for whether a system survives contact with reality. That experience is what we lend.
Our work concentrates where it matters most: the commercialisation of a thesis, the prototype that proves it, and the system that scales it. We do not write reports. We build the answer.

A thesis becomes a product. We translate the principal's conviction into a defensible technical proposition, a credible cost basis, a working demonstration, and the artefacts a fund or family office needs to commit serious capital to it.

Real software, in users' hands, fast enough to learn something true. We compress the loop from question to evidence — AI-assisted where it accelerates, hand-built where it has to be right.

Not a chatbot bolted on — the architecture itself.
We design systems where models, retrieval, evaluation, and orchestration are first-class citizens. Data flow, cost curve, latency budget, and human review are treated as engineering — not marketing. The output is durable.

When the answer is to build, we build. End-to-end product, infrastructure, and team — handed over only when it is genuinely ready to run without us. Our incentive is to make ourselves unnecessary on a clear date.

Conversation
A first call with the principal or partner. No deck. We listen, we ask hard questions, and we determine whether the shape of the work is real.

Memorandum
A short written response — the problem as we understand it, what we'd do, what it would cost, and where it would either succeed or fail. Signed.

Engagement
We embed. Whether fractional or full, we operate as part of the principal's team — under their flag if needed — with weekly evidence of progress.

Handover
Every engagement ends with the client able to run without us. Documentation, code, hires, vendors, and a roadmap that survives our departure.
